IPMT staff, as part of the NANOPOL project under the European Union’s “Horizon 2020” Program, visited the University of Helsinki for a working meeting. During this visit, they met with Emeritus-Professor Heikki Tenhu, with whom Kazakh scientists have maintained a fruitful scientific collaboration. The long-standing friendship between the Finnish and Kazakh professors began in 1986 and continues to thrive. Professor Tenhu is a co-author of numerous joint projects and publications and actively participates in Kazakh conferences and symposiums focused on various aspects of polymer science. He also contributes significantly to the training of highly qualified scientific personnel, including Doctors of Philosophy. We wish Professor Tenhu good health and longevity for the continued advancement of polymer science.
